The life of J. Schlupas is extremely rich in events. He received a comprehensive education: historical and philological at Moscow University, natural science in St. Petersburg, the specialty of a doctor in the United States. He worked for a long time in America, but in 1930 he returned to his native Palanga. With Palanga receiving the status of a city, J. Shlupas became her first mayor. In addition to the life and activities of the doctor, the museum will reveal the secrets of the history of the city, as well as demonstrate an interesting ethnographic exposition.
