I invite everyone to the traditional fair of Kazyukas on March 7-9.

Every year, at the beginning of the first month of spring, the streets of the Old Town are awakened from the noise of the many-voiced traditional fair of craftsmen. Merchants and artisans come here not only from the most remote corners of Lithuania, but also from neighboring countries. What you can't see here. They were invited to buy wooden spoons, wicker baskets, or even furniture. The works of blacksmiths amaze with their airiness and ornateness. It turns out that from felt you can make not only valenki, but also original jewelry: earrings, beads, bracelets. Wall wool is combined with silk and linen, decorated with floral ornament. My eyes are so full of abundance. Traditional willows made of dried herbs, each year replenished with new ideas, now you can see the willows decorated with feathers of strange birds. On the streets, in specially equipped places, you can try traditional Lithuanian cuisine, you can warm yourself with hot beer with honey. And be sure at the fair you need to buy its main attribute - sweet gingerbread-heart Kazyukas or beads of baranoke.

The fair is not only a lively trade, it is also numerous events, concerts, theatrical processions, demonstration performances of masters.
