Ashura Day

Description:

Ashur Day is the tenth day of the month of Muharram.
The day of Ashura is the tenth day of the month of Muharram, the first month of the year according to the Muslim calendar. The name "Ashura" is derived from the word "Ashara", which in Arabic means "ten".

At the dawn of mankind, the first important historical event occurred on the Day of Ashura. It is associated with the first man, who was also the first prophet, Adam. The father of all mankind repented of his mistake, and by His mercy he accepted the repentance of His Prophet on the Day of Ashura.

The day of Ashura is a day of celebration for the Prophet Nuh. On this day, Allah gave Noah and his followers, who were with the Prophet on the ark, salvation from destruction in the waters of the Great Flood.

Noah was sent to the people of the land, and the people of Noah were sent to them. He called the unbelievers to Islam for 950 years, but the hearts of many of them were deaf to his call, and few of them followed the messenger. Some 80 people converted to Islam, including Noah’s sons Sam, Ham and Yaafis. Noah and his companions entered the earth on the day of the Great Flood.
