New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve.The holy month of Muharram marks the beginning of the Hijra New Year. The month of Muharram is the first month of the Hijra Muslim calendar. This is one of the four months (Rajab, Dhul-Qa’ada, Dhul-Hijah, Muharram) during which Allah specifically prohibited conflicts, blood feuds, wars, etc. The Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Therefore, every Muslim should try to spend this month in the service of Allah. In this connection, it is said that as we spend the first month of the year, so will all the other twelve months. If the month of Muharram is devoted to the worship of Allah, then one can hope that this baraqat (blessing) will spread throughout the rest of the year.
