Beirut

Pigeon Rocks

d. Beirut, Lebanon

Description:

Pigeon cliffs are one of the natural wonders of Beirut, a unique landmark created many centuries ago. They are high cliffs off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, which photographers like to shoot and around which lovers and tourists like to walk. The rocks are called pigeons, because at any time of the year you can see thousands of pigeons that build many nests here and please people with their complex pirouettes.

Pigeon cliffs are located near the west coast of Beirut, in the Mediterranean Sea. In this area there are several cozy coves and small, but fascinating caves. In summer, you can ride around rocks and caves in small boats for a small fee. There are also cafes and restaurants near the Dove Rocks, so after a cognitive walk you can try local dishes.
