Museum of brewing art and leather craftsmanship
Rue du Chateau 36, Wiltz, Luxembourg
About the company:
The Museum of Brewing and Leather Arts is one of the most popular museums in Luxembourg, where you can not only see interesting exhibits, but also drink the most delicious local beer in the whole country for tasting. The museum, also called Tannery, is housed in the old stable of the castle.
The Museum of Brewing is located in the northern part of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - the city of Wilz, where there is also the famous brewery "Simone". In museum premises, in special showcases, varieties of yeast and hops are exhibited, which are used for brewing. Here you can spend time in practical classes on brewing, learn about the history of beer and the traditions of its consumption by local residents. The tasting is held in a beer hall decorated for the corresponding historical era, where an ancient statue of Gambrinus is placed on a barrel with a large mug of beer.
Entrance to the museum with an audio guide costs 3.5 euros, a full ticket - 2.5 euros, children - 1.5 euros.
