France Bay is the southernmost part of Diego Suarez Bay. It is located in the north of Madagascar and is considered the second largest bay in the world. The length of the coast along the perimeter is 156 kilometers. One of the most popular attractions of the bay is the rocky island of Nusi Lungu. This small volcanic island is located right in the middle of the bay.
There used to be rituals on this island. Therefore, the locals gave it a second name – “Sugar Head”. Currently, the Bay of France is considered one of the best places for diving.
