Description:
The French mountains are in the east of the island, near Diego Suarez. The mountains consist of sandstone, rocks and very narrow canyons. They stretch for 2400 kilometers in length, forming beautiful natural landscapes.
The mountains are rich in diverse flora and fauna. It is noteworthy that in the mountains often rains, thereby creating favorable conditions for plants and animals that live in these places.
Only here you can see several dozen species of tall baobabs, as well as the well-known aloe plant.
