Windsor Castle
Rue de la Reine Betty, Antsiranana, Madagascar
Description:
Windsor Castle is among the attractions worth visiting on the island of Madagascar.
It got its name because of the location of the rocks, reminiscent of an ancient castle in England. This ancient structure has a height of 398 meters. The two towers of the castle are 5 and 6 meters high and are made of strong mountain stones. If you climb a steep stone staircase, then at the top you will find a beautiful observation deck, which offers views of the Mozambique Channel, the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Diego.
At the foot of the castle are picturesque green meadows, where you can meet a variety of species of local birds and animals.
