The temple of St. Panteleimon is the main attraction of Water, located on the mountainside in the village of Nerezi. The temple was founded in the XII century by Alexei Comnenus.
In the temple you can admire not only the atmosphere created in it, but also beautiful Byzantine frescoes, which are of great historical value. Frescoes made on biblical subjects capture with their drama and expression. On the walls there are figures of monks who evoke a sense of peace and divinity. The main figure in the temple, of course, is the figure of the holy healer Panteleimon, who became famous for healing the sick and infirm.
