Marsascala Bay is a picturesque place, which is a popular holiday destination among Maltese people who live mainly in the south of the island.
Around the bay is the town of the same name, which has hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, banks and all other amenities for residents and tourists. You can swim and sunbathe both in the bay itself and on the sandy beach, which is nearby.
In the bay of Marsascala, it is good to sunbathe and admire the surf, salt pits that stretch along the bay of Marsascala for several hundred meters, but it is still better to swim on the nearby sandy beach - in the bay of St. Thomas. There is everything for “civilized” bathing: sunbeds, cafes, toilets, umbrellas.
You can get to the bay by car or by bus, which departs from the central bus station of Valletta.
