Howard Gardens
Description:
The Howard Gardens, one of the largest public gardens in Malta, is the natural border between Mdina and Rabat. The gardens, opened in 1924, are named after Joseph Howard, Malta’s first prime minister. This popular place is decorated with several sculptures and sports facilities. The Old Cross is considered a gift from Count Roger of Normandy in honor of the restoration of Christianity in Malta after its capture from the Arabs in 1090.
