Carillo Gil Museum of Painting

The Carillo Gil Painting Museum is located in a lively area of Mexico City – near Revolution Avenue.

The museum is located in a three-storey building.

The museum houses a collection of works by Dr. Alvar Carrillo and his wife. The collection was assembled in 1974. The basis of the collection is the works of Rivera, Orozco and Siqueiros, Wolfgang Paalen, Ponter Herzzo. Carillo himself also painted a little and maintained good relations with the famous painter Orozco.

Along with permanent exhibitions, there are also temporary ones.
