About the company:

The National Museum of Anthropology is one of the most important museums in Mexico because it contains the largest collection of pre-Columbian objects.

The museum was opened in 1964 on an area of almost 8 hectares. On this square there are 23 pavilions that surround the courtyard, and several open areas.

A significant part of the museum area is dedicated to the art of the Mayans, Aztecs, Olmecs, but there are also exhibitions on contemporary art of the region. The main exhibition of the museum includes the "stone of the sun", which is better known as the Mayan calendar.

The museum aims not only to preserve and popularize the culture of the Mesoamerican period, but also to develop interest in the culture of other countries, so the museum constantly hosts exhibitions dedicated to different peoples of the world.
