Fish River Canyon is the largest canyon in Africa and the second in the world and second only to the famous Grand Canyon in the United States. Fascinating views of the canyon, aloe forests, unusual basalt rocks and thermal springs - all this can be seen in the Fish River.
The scale of the canyon is truly impressive - about one hundred and sixty kilometers long, twenty-eight kilometers wide and five hundred meters deep. Just imagine: to go through the canyon from beginning to end, you have to spend five days.
In the south of the canyon there are observation decks for tourists who did not dare to descend, and closer to the north there is a resort of hot springs Ai-Ice.
In recent years, this place is very popular among tourists, so there are small campsites and cafes.
