Bwabwata National Park

Bwabwata is a national park located in Caprivi, Namibia and covers an area of 6,100 square kilometers. Previously, there were two national parks: Caprivi National Park, founded in 1968, and Mahango National Park, founded in 1986. In 2007, these parks merged and formed Bwabwata. For a long time, South African troops and rebels were persecuted from neighboring Angola.

Bwabwata borders Angola in the north and Botswana in the south. The Okavango and Kwando rivers flow through the park.
