Dune alley

In the sands of the oldest desert of the world Namib is located plateau Sossusvlei – “Mecca” of modern tourism, “photographic paradise” of Africa. Here is the famous Dune Alley - one of the most beautiful places of the Black continent.
The highest sand dunes on the planet are located here. Depending on the position of the sun, they change their color and amaze the imagination with all shades of yellow, orange, red, purple colors, cast black and sometimes dark blue shadows. The sands "grow" long-horned oryxes, sand foxes, scarab beetles, and scanty at first glance flora is represented by endemic succulents, wild melons "tsamka" and cucumbers, which in dry times serve as the only source of moisture for Bushmen.
At the end of the Dune Alley is the unique Sossusvlei Lake, filled with water every few years and surrounded by bizarrely curved camel thorns.
