Mahendra Cave

Numerous caves of Nepal tell about the history and legends stored under the vault of stones.

Stalactite entrances amaze with their beauty, talk about antiquity and invite to their bowels. The Davis Falls, as it were, opens the entrance to the Mahendra caves to fully show the beauty and depth of history.

The ancients say that bats nested here, so the cave was nicknamed “The House of Bats”. Given that Shiva is sacred, many stalactites are directly carved into his image. The caves are dark, impressive, and teeming with winged mice.
