“Architectural Periscope”: an interactive map of the disappearing architectural heritage has been created in Russia
The Architectural Periscope is an interactive map of the country’s disappearing architectural heritage.
Now there are seven "not the most popular, but no less valuable cultural sites" that need restoration.
Among them are the Burlatsk hospital (Rybinsk), the Barnaul silver smelting plant, the White Tower (Yekaterinburg), the mosaic “Joy of Labor” in Togliatti, the Pushchino-on-Oka estate (Pushchino), Goving’s house in Vyborg and the Ryazan VDNKh. On the page of each - a video, historical note and expert comment.
"Architectural Periscope" is one of the projects of the Foundation "Attention", which is engaged in the preservation of the historical heritage of Russia. On the site there is an opportunity to help the Foundation or support your project.
