"Arkhyz" - one of the main tourist destinations of the North Caucasus
The development of the all-season tourist cluster "Arkhyz" in Karachay-Cherkessia is one of the main topics of the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak with the head of the KCR Rashid Temrezov.
According to the strategy of socio-economic development of the North Caucasus until 2030 approved by the government in May 2022, in the coming years the ski resort "Arkhyz" will become one of the main tourist destinations in the NCFD.
The head of the KCR noted that over the 8 years of the existence of Arkhyz, the tourist flow to the resort increased 8 times - from 100 thousand to 797 thousand tourists a year.
The resort "Arkhyz" opened in December 2013. The resort is equipped with 27 km of ski slopes, a network of lifts, artificial snow formation systems.
