“August! – Month of showers of stars!”: named the most popular route among Russians in the last month of summer
The Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation (ATOR) reported that in late August – early September, two-thirds of the purchased tour packages in Russia accounted for Turkey.
The distribution of purchased tours with flights in the period of August 25-31 in the top 5 countries shows the strengthening of Turkey’s position, it accounts for two thirds of applications for tours in organized tourism – 67% (in mid-August – 62%).
Rest in Russia at the end of August are going to 12% of clients of travel agencies (16% in the middle of the month).
The share of travelers who plan to go to Abkhazia decreased from 4.4 to 2.7%. 3.6% of tourists will go to the UAE, 7.3% to Egypt.
From August 25-31, there is a significant decrease in prices for tours to Turkey: “Compared to mid-August, the minimum price bar for ten-day tours to this country fell by 50% – a clear indication that seats have been vacated in a number of inexpensive hotels, there are more cheap offers on the market.”
