Australia to sell vodka cocktail to Russia!
It's like selling snow to Eskimos, but Australia is seriously going to sell a vodka cocktail to Russia!
This week, Australia will be the first country to introduce a ready-to-drink vodka-based beverage to Russian Standard.
And if all goes well, within a year Russia will be the first country to receive a new, ready-to-drink drink with a citrus flavor and containing vodka from a factory in St. Petersburg.
It's interesting to see Australians selling vodka to Russians. There is already a noticeable interest in this topic in the Russian press, said Rustam Tariko, the owner of Russian Standard, a billionaire whose goal is to put his company on a par with brands such as Smirnoff and Absolute.
Mr Tariko also said Australia was one of the most successful markets for his company and that Australians were willing to pay more for quality products than Europeans.
