Bali opens to immunized foreigners

Indonesian authorities have decided to open the island of Bali to vaccinated foreign tourists and reduce the quarantine time from 10 to 5 days.

According to Coconuts, Vaccinated foreign tourists over the age of 12 can come to Bali from February 4. It is now possible to visit the island both by connecting and direct flights.”

The country approved the use of vaccines manufactured by Sinovac, Sinopharm, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik V.

To enter Indonesia, tourists need a negative PCR test, done no earlier than 48 hours before the trip, medical insurance.

Upon arrival and another test, you need to self-isolate yourself in one of the observation hotels. The hotel is booked and paid in advance.

“The quarantine package will cost about $837 per person for seven days and includes three meals a day, laundry services and a third PCR test, which tourists need to do the day before the quarantine ends. Given that vaccinated two-component vaccines need to be self-isolated for five days, the authorities intend to revise the cost of services downward.”

Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), said that Russians can officially visit Indonesia on a short-term visa VITAS (Visa tinggal terbatas) and a business visa.
