What can Russians do without when traveling?
Specialists of the domestic hotel booking service interviewed users and determined what Russians need for a comfortable stay in hotels.
The majority of travelers – 69% – cited internet access as the most important service in a hotel. Free Wi-Fi is more important for women than for men.
Air conditioning is the second most important convenience, and if it is not available, 49% of respondents will choose another hotel. 2% less Russians vote for a hotel pool. A bar or restaurant needs 40% of the guests.
18% of Russian travelers need a kitchen, 15% of survey participants pay attention when choosing a spa accommodation facility (mostly women). Men are more important than their own hotel parking. The least votes are given by Russians for the gym (12%) and the possibility of staying in a hotel with pets (8%).
Earlier, the online service OneTwoTrip published popular wishes at the final stage of hotel booking. Most often, tourists ask for a higher floor - the desire is explained by the fact that people do not want to live above the kitchen, restaurant, sports or conference room. Another popular request is a room far from the elevator lobby. Top 3 wishes are closed by a request to provide a room with a double bed.
