Will visa-free travel with China be extended?
The decision to extend the visa-free regime with China will take closer to August, told RIA Novosti Nikita Kondratiev, Director of the Department of multilateral economic cooperation and special projects of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation.
“The extension will be made collegially, not only by the Ministry of Economic Development, based on the results of the assessment of the current regime,” Kondratiev explained on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Abkhazia – Investments in the Future.” He stressed that the discussion is inevitable, since the agreement is valid until September 14, 2026. “The decision will be taken approximately in August based on an analysis of its work for the year,” the expert added.
