Charters in Russia in 2023 will receive subsidies
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation will continue to subsidize charter flights in Russia in 2023, and compensate tour operators for their expenses for 2022.
The press service of the Ministry informs: "... The measure will continue to be implemented within the framework of the national project "Tourism and hospitality industry".
In 2022, the Russian government allocated 1.2 billion rubles for the provision of subsidies.
Tour operators with the support of Rostourism in 2020 began organizing charter programs to deliver tourists to the regions of Russia, where it is expensive to fly on regular flights. The agency compensated for 50% of the cost of freight of the aircraft, which allowed to reduce the cost of turnstiles by 1.5-2 times.
