Dubai beaches closed due to jellyfish
Over the past few days, dozens of holidaymakers on Dubai's beaches have been stung by jellyfish. Rescuers urge bathers not to swim far from the shore and be careful in the water.
Most of the beaches of the Jumeirah area are closed - red flags are installed on the shore. However, this does not stop especially desperate tourists. Rescuers are monitoring a 200-meter strip of beach where rest is allowed. Dubai beaches will be closed until jellyfish leave coastal waters.
