Another foreign resort opened for Russians

Thursday night in the south Oman For the first time, a direct charter from Russia landed: Oman Air flight WY 2184 started from Sheremetyevo and delivered a full salon of Russian tourists to the resort of Salala in 6.5 hours. The flight is organized by tour operator FUN&SUN and will fly until May 9, 2026.

The first batch of vouchers sold out completely, only seats remained on the shelves on January 17. Flights appeared twice a week - on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The ticket price already includes 20-pound luggage, hot meals, unlimited drinks. Tours can be taken from 2 to 20 nights; in the catalog - hotels 3*-5*, including all-inclusive, as well as connecting flights through Muscat.

Salala, still available mainly to “safari tourists” and Middle East experts, received a direct “track” without transfers and complex hubs. Unlike its skyscraper neighbors – Dubai, Doha and Manama – Salala relies on nature and a calmer rhythm. During the monsoon season, the mountains turn green, waterfalls and full-water wadis appear, and wide beaches stretch along the coast without dense construction.
