Fedor Konyukhov opened in Miass "School of travelers"

On the lake Turgoyak near the town of Miass opened "School of travelers Fedor Konyukhov". The training center became a joint project of NP Turgoyak and the government of the Chelyabinsk region.

The main mission of the center will be to instill in children the spirit of travel and research, increasing their faith in themselves and independence. The training program includes sports, tourist and language courses and workshops on diving, yachting, alpine skiing and snowboarding.

De facto this unusual educational institution has been operating since the first of September this year, but de jure the opening took place recently. The ceremony was attended by Fedor Konyukhov himself, President of NP Turgoyak Oleg Sirotin and a delegation from the regional government. The famous traveler talked with the first students and told about his ascent to Everest.
