Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova: restrictions due to COVID-19 can be eased by summer
The easing of some restrictions that are in effect in Russia due to the coronavirus pandemic is possible as early as May or early summer. About this in an interview with the TV channel “Russia 24” told the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
According to her, the restrictions are gradually reduced and this is very noticeable: the working hours of restaurants are extended, outdoor activities are resumed, etc. According to the head of the department, it is necessary that all Russians observe the remaining rules.
Anna Popova stressed that now we are not talking about the abolition of serious measures (mandatory wearing masks or the use of disinfectants). Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor recommended residents of Russia not to travel abroad for the May holidays. In her opinion, on a long weekend it is better to be in the domestic resorts.
