Hong Kong recognizes Russian COVID-19 vaccination certificates

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) authorities have recognized Russian COVID-19 vaccination certificates since September 29.

" . This decision will remove part of the sanitary and epidemiological migration restrictions imposed on persons entering Hong Kong from the territory of “countries with a high risk of infection”, which according to the local classification includes Russia, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Hong Kong said on Facebook.

Vaccinated citizens of the Russian Federation can enter Hong Kong directly (and serve a 21-day quarantine in a specialized hotel), rather than after three weeks of stay in a third country.

Before boarding a flight to Hong Kong, you must present a vaccination certificate with a QR code formed on a single portal of public services based on vaccination data transmitted by Russian competent medical institutions.

Currently, only the Sputnik V vaccine is recognized from Russian vaccines in Hong Kong. Entry to Hong Kong from “high-risk countries” is currently only possible for residents of the administrative region.
