The state Duma approved the initiative to simplify the entry of tourists
The state Duma in the first reading approved a bill that will simplify the entry of foreigners to the territory of Russia for tourist purposes.
The document facilitates the process of issuing visas for foreign tourists, and allows its registration on the basis of confirmation of reservations in a hotel or other organization, information about which is contained in a single list of classified hotels.
The maximum period for issuing a tourist visa will also be increased to six months.
