The state in East Africa simplified visa rules for Russians
ATOR, referring to the representative office of Ethiopian Airlines in Moscow, reports that “A tourist visa to Ethiopia can now be issued at Addis Ababa airport.”
Since 2021, Russians have been applying for a visa either online or only at the Ethiopian embassy.
Two color photographs are required for the document. The cost of the visa will be $52 for a single entry visa with a validity of up to 30 days and $72 for a single entry visa with a validity of up to 90 days. It can only be paid in US dollars.
Russian workers, business and business visas can be issued at the embassy. These types of visas require an invitation from Ethiopia.
