Health Minister Thanos PlevrisGreece Since February 7, the mandatory COVID-19 test has been abolished, but only for holders of European vaccination certificates.

Previously arriving in the country from December 19, 2021, tourists from all countries, regardless of immunization status, had to carry a negative coronavirus test - either a PCR taken no earlier than 72 hours before the trip, or an express test taken 24 hours before the visit.

This measure was valid for everyone, including children under the age of five. The exception is travelers who have been abroad for less than 48 hours.
