Croatia began issuing visas to Russians

Croatia has resumed issuing tourist visas in Russia. The Croatian Embassy is already accepting visa applications for tourist, business or private travel.

The head of the Croatian national tourist office in Russia, Mr. Raiko Ruzicka, said that since April 1, the Croatian Embassy in Russia has resumed accepting documents for issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens.

Croatia is waiting for Russian tourists and confirms this with practical steps. The borders of Croatia are open to Russians: tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V can enter, as well as travelers who present a negative PCR test for coronavirus, a negative rapid test result for coronavirus antigens or a certificate of a coronavirus infection. From April 1, the issuance of tourist visas to Russian citizens is resumed.

According to him, Croatia hopes that the stable epidemiological situation in the resorts and cities of the country, as well as the readiness to receive Russian tourists will help the speedy restoration of direct flights with Russia.

The Croatian national visa gives permission to enter and stay for up to 90 days in each period of 180 days.

The application for a visa is submitted not earlier than 3 months before the intended trip to the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Moscow or at the visa centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Omsk, Saratov, Perm.

No biometrics are required to obtain a visa to Croatia.
