From Germany to Poland you can now come by the beach
The second most important tourist and the largest German island - Uzedom - fastened with Poland in the literal and figurative sense.
In other words, a beach promenade was equipped from the resort of Heringsdorf to Svinoustia in the Poland. The length of the promenade is 12 km. The beach was previously connected by the German resorts of Banzin, Herrigsdorf and Albek, but now tourists walking along it can reach the Polish border and even cross it. This promenade is now the longest in Europe.
About 3.6 million euros were spent on such a tourist innovation. Along the coastline, in addition to the equipped promenade, new entertainment facilities, hotels, pedestrian and bicycle paths appeared.
On the border of Poland and Germany A large wooden platform and steel sculpture were installed, symbolizing the unification of the Polish and German people.
