Israel comes out of quarantine: reserves and national parks open

Israel is taking steps to ease the quarantine regime. Since May 5, 11 national parks and 9 nature reserves have opened.

In the list of open national parks: Masada, Caesarea, Herodion, Tel Afek complex in Yarkon National Park, Springs of Yarkon, Maayan Harod, Beit Guvrin, Apollonia, Castel, Ein ha Besor, as well as Ein Gedi.

Open reserves: Banias, Nahal Snir, Nahal Ayun, Yehudia, Ein Afek, Hula, Ruchei Taninim, Einot Tsukim, Matsok ha Qinim.

All venues will operate under the instructions of the Israeli Ministry of Health to keep visitors safe.

In order to avoid unexpected queues at the entrances, visits will only be allowed by prior online booking and prepayment.

For each park and reserve, quotas are set for the number of guests - from 300 to 2000 people, depending on the size of the object, the average duration of the visit, tourist flow and attractions that should not be crowded with visitors. This makes it easier to track the number of people and ensure the required minimum physical distance of 2 m.

Visitors are required to wear masks and observe personal hygiene rules.

At the entrance, tourists receive color identification bracelets (according to the time of visit), they are measured by temperature.
