How do hotels in the Krasnodar region minimize losses from “vaccine restrictions”?

From August 1, the accommodation facilities of the Krasnodar Territory can receive tourists only if they have a certificate of vaccination. The second way to enter is to get vaccinated in the Krasnodar Territory.

These innovations did not stimulate the vaccination of tourists, but there was no wave of cancellations after August 1.

The National Tour Operator ALEAN noted that at least 25% of all cancellations of tours to the resorts of Kuban for August were made almost immediately after the introduction of the resolution - from June 21 to 28.

New bookings of tours to the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory from tour operators almost stopped. The demand for rest on the Black Sea coast due to the restrictions clearly shifted towards Abkhazia and Crimea.

Hotels that continue to operate in the new environment are reviewing the pricing policy to stimulate demand.

Hotels in the region produce a lot of different special offers every day In general, prices are reduced from 10 to 20%, they try to focus on rest with children. There are promotions from hotels where children can stay with a 50% discount and free breakfast. There are a lot of interesting proposals for the Sochi mountain cluster, including high-level hotels, the statement reads.

Now there are bonuses for guests - breakfast as a gift to tourists during the entire check-in or a night as a gift, children up to 12 children without payment, a 5-hour tour of Sochi as a gift, etc.

“Virtually all hoteliers with whom we communicate are very concerned about the situation and hope that accommodation requirements will be eased and tourists will be allowed to check in with PCR tests. All market participants are in a state of painstaking work to save the tourist season in the Krasnodar Territory.”

The downside of the price reduction by hoteliers from tour operators is now this: those who have already bought tours at high prices are canceled and booked at lower prices.
