How does Russian youth like to travel?

The travel service momondo in its study found out how travelers prefer to relax 18-22 years? How do you choose hotels and what do you spend money on?

The survey involved 23,400 people from 22 countries, including Russia.
Sports tourism entered the top 5 of the most popular types of leisure among young people along with beach, country and automobile. Excursions interest such respondents less than representatives of other ages.

Young tourists choose a budget vacation, and are ready to spend on trips from 20 to 50 thousand rubles a year. For other tourists, this figure is from 50 to 100 thousand rubles.

A young organism is a growing organism: 41% of respondents aged 18-22 say that restaurants and cafes are the most noticeable item of expenses in travel, and 38% - shopping in supermarkets.

The decisive factor when choosing a hotel for young people is free Wi-Fi: 61% of the vote. Of great importance are also breakfast, which is included in the price, flexible occupancy time and view from the window.

When preparing for travel, young people are more likely than travelers of other ages to be concerned about visa issues (29% vs. 19%). A serious cause for concern is the need to plan the trip in a way that takes into account the interests of all participants.

About the occurrence of romantic feelings on vacation say 36% of respondents. This is 6% more than people of other ages.
11% of Russians 18-22 years at least once rested alone. Opinions about solo trips in the future are divided: 34% want to gain such experience and the same number do not.
