Home and residence of Santa Claus in Great Ustyug On November 18, the wizard’s birthday will be greeted by interactive entertainment programs.
The Tourist Information Center (TIC) of the Vologda region reports: “On the birthday of Santa Claus in Veliky Ustyug, 18 cartoons at Santa Claus will be held.” Guests will be immersed in the incredible atmosphere of a good fairy tale, meeting with their favorite heroes of fairy tales and cartoons, drawing prizes and numerous fun. And during the fascinating animated show “Happy Birthday, Grandpa Frost”, the first Christmas tree and artificial fireworks stars will be lit.
Novelties of the tourist season in Father Frost's House - an immersive show-promenade "Magic Tales of Santa Claus" - a theatrical audio-excursion with elements of magic, and a game excursion program "Spa resort for snowmen" in the Museum of Snow and Ice.
During the audio-excursion, everyone, together with the magical navigator, the cheerful Mermer, will go on an extraordinary journey, during which they will get acquainted with the life story of Santa Claus.
The performance is held every day, when the magic lights are lit in the patrimony of Santa Claus.
“Guests of the Northern Kingdom will get acquainted with non-resting snowmen, learn where snowflakes come from, and who invented such wonderful names for them, play their favorite games of snowmen and break away on the snowdrop!”
From November 12, special weekend tourist trains will go from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Veliky Ustyug every Friday.
