How to buy a winter tour at the sea?
Dmitry Gorin, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT), said that the most economical way to buy a sea tour in winter is to take advantage of early booking promotions.
“At any time of the year, cold or warm, it is best to buy early booking tours. In recent years, exchange rate fluctuations and currency volatility have become particularly relevant, as they can be up to 20% of the value.”
He also noted that it is more profitable to buy tours outside the season. Package tours are better booked through a travel agent or tour operator, as they have special prices for transport and accommodation.
Gorin stressed that for budget holidays, it is better to avoid trips during peak periods such as July, August, New Year holidays, Christmas and school holidays, when prices can be significantly higher.
