Which country will be the hit of the summer - 2022?
Turkey is the most sought-after foreign destination for early bookings: more than 70% of all sales for summer 2022.
The country will be a hit in the summer of 2022, but prices for the direction will rise. Other foreign countries are also becoming more expensive, so discounts on early booking for summer 2022, which are now offered by tour operators, are extremely relevant.
Early booking with tour operators for the summer of 2022 started on October 1: sales for tours to Turkey, Greece, Caribbean countries and other destinations are open.
Unlike domestic destinations, tourists are in no hurry to buy tours abroad with great depth.
The most popular early booking destinations are Turkey, Russia, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus. The basis of “foreign” early booking for the summer of 2022 is Turkey.
It is very profitable to buy Turkey in advance, experts explain - the cost of tours to this country is growing rapidly with the approach of the high season.
In the summer of 2022, prices for Turkey are higher by about 10-15% compared to 2021. But after the end of the early booking, if we compare the season without this action, prices will be higher than now, in some cases by 50% and will change during the summer, as not only the pandemic makes its own adjustments to business, but also, for example, the fall of the Turkish lira.
“Turkish factor” explains the fact that the pace and volume of early booking in 2022 in general (together in all countries) the largest mass tour operators, in the range of which Turkey is one of the main countries, and companies specializing mainly in other areas, see quite differently.
Major tour operators from the Big Six (they account for 99% of all sales in Turkey) note that the demand for early bookings in general is better not only last year, but also in 2018-2019.
Promotions for early booking of summer tours to foreign countries from tour operators end at the end of March, popular hotels will be dismantled even earlier. Thus, it is better to “stay” the best seats, loyal conditions with a small prepayment and discounts on hotels now.
