Councils of People's Deputies Vladimir and muroma They decided to introduce a tourist tax, which will come into force from January 1, 2025.
According to the press service of the city administration of Vladimir, it is expected that in 2025 the new tax on tourism business will bring an additional 35 million rubles to the municipal budget.
Taxpayers will be both organizations and individuals providing temporary accommodation services, including hotels, hostels, guest houses and owners of rented apartments. In 2025, the tax rate will be 1%, in 2026 - 2%, in 2027 - 3%, and in 2028 - 4%.
Murom District Council also supported the initiative to introduce a local tourist tax. It will be charged to every tourist who stays at the hotel for at least one night. The collected funds are planned to be used to repair infrastructure and improve attractions.
City Council deputies kaliningrad approved a decree on the introduction of a tourist tax, which will be effective from the beginning of 2025.
The tax will be paid by both organizations and individuals providing services for temporary rental housing. In 2025, the minimum tax amount will be 100 rubles per day, after which it will increase annually by 1% until 2029, as a result of which it will reach 5% of the tax base.
