Kazan residents sell air to Universiade guests

In the souvenir shops of Kazan, where the 2013 Universiade is held these days, a new product has been put on sale: cans with Kazan air. According to sellers, this souvenir is sold out at lightning speed.

The souvenir is a metal jar with a blue label and the inscription "Air of Kazan 1005-2013". The first date is the year of the foundation of Kazan, the second is the year of the Universiade.

The label also indicates the composition of the air: the air of the Kazan Kremlin – 25%, Bauman Street – 25%, Staro-Tatar Sloboda – 15%, Millennium Park – 15%, Zilantov Monastery – 10%, Tukay Square – 10%. The expiration date is also indicated - up to 2112, that is, 99 years. The price of the jar is 250 rubles.

The sellers claim that the goods are hurried. In addition, in demand among tourists are items of national Tatar clothing, Kazan cats in different hypostases and the mascot of the Universiade – Yuni badger.
