Equestrian polo on ice in Italy

In Italy From 20 to 26 February will be held traditional polo competitions on the frozen lake Misurina, which is located 13 kilometers from the ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo.

This year, for the first time in the history of the tournament, women's teams will take part in it, who will take to the ice of the lake the day before the final. For spectators, entrance to the stands will be free.

Other events are also timed to the tournament. For example, the sponsors of the competition will hold a test drive Audi 27 on February 27.

Cortina d'Ampezzo is one of the popular winter resorts, located in the Dolomites at an altitude of 1200 meters, part of the Dolomiti Superski skiing region.
