Coronavirus tired: thousands of Chinese tourists flooded the sights

Chinese tourists, “stayed” in quarantine, tens of thousands returned to the opened tourist places.

Huashan Park (Anhui Province, China) declared the action “free entry”, and forced to close the doors to visitors when their number exceeded 20 thousand people.

The park was filled with crowds of travelers, and many were without masks. It was impossible to keep a “social distance” in such a crowd.

At normal times, Huangshan Park, known as the Yellow Mountains, charges 190 yuan for entry. But at the moment the park held a kind of “advertising action”. It has been closed since January 21 due to the epidemic and reopened on February 21. Then it was closed again and reopened only at the end of March.

As a result, the management of the park curtailed the action and closed the gates of the park in connection with the achieved “full capacity” – it, incidentally, was reduced from 50 thousand people to 20 thousand. This, however, did not save them from harsh criticism caused by the policy of free entry and promotions, while the risk of infection remains.

Many Chinese landmarks are still closed for these reasons, such as the Forbidden City in Beijing. Some, like the Oriental Pearl Tower, closed for the second time.
