Maldives government to take away underwater palm from UAE

The Ministry of Tourism of the Maldives has given the green light to the construction of an underwater hotel on the island of Kuredivari. The hotel in the Maldives will be built on the same concept announced by Drydocks World, which is still in talks to create a surreal project.

When work began on the prototype, which is called the Water Discus Hotel, and for which the EU has allocated $ 21.3 million, it seemed that Dubai would be the first to build such a hotel, but it looks like the Maldives will be the first to discover it.
The prototype Water Discus Hotel is currently under construction in Gdynia, Poland. The building will have 20 rooms and an underwater restaurant, while the spa will be located above the water.

Arabian Business reports that hotel guests can easily climb to the surface of the water in case of danger.
