Mexico lifts coronavirus restrictions on travellers
Mexico has abolished all entry requirements imposed due to the spread of COVID-19.
Tourists do not need to fill out a health questionnaire and receive a QR code.
Travel Off Path reports that there are few restrictions in Mexico itself, but individual states are introducing different measures. Regions are divided by colors (levels), depending on the spread of the coronavirus, from red to green, respectively.
Currently, no state in Mexico is considered a red state. Many popular tourist destinations, including Cancun, are considered "yellow". There may be restrictions on occupancy of hotels, restaurants, bars, but otherwise the rest is free.
Mexico is currently one of the most loyal countries towards tourists from Russia. To issue an electronic entry permit (single entry, up to 30 days) only a passport is required.
