Krasnodar International Airport “Pashkovsky” will be opened soon?
Krasnodar International Airport Pashkovsky can work after a test flight on December 15, 2023. A test flight without passengers will be carried out by Azimut airline from Moscow Vnukovo airport.
Pashkovsky is part of the airport group Aerodynamics and was closed for security reasons along with 10 other airports of the Southern and Central Federal Districts of Russia after the start of the air defense in Ukraine in February 2022.
The closure of airports, some of which serve popular tourist destinations, had a negative impact on air traffic. Krasnodar Airport is one of the largest in terms of traffic in the Southern Federal District, in 2021 its passenger traffic reached a record 5 million people.
