MFA Bulgaria We are ready to start issuing tourist visas to Russians according to the simplest procedure.
Minister Ekaterina Zakhariyeva said: The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to start issuing tourist visas as soon as the relevant order is received from the Minister of Health. Last week, I suggested that the Bulgarian consular services begin preparations for issuing visas to tourists.
According to Zakhariyeva, the Russian market is considered one of the most important for Bulgaria, and the process of issuing visas will be as soft as possible.

Recently, the Minister of Health of Bulgaria Kostadin Angelov said that from May 1, entry into the country for foreign tourists, including Russians, will be possible if 1 of 3 conditions are met: certificates of PCR test for coronavirus, vaccination certificate or certificate of antibodies. In the latter case, the certificate must confirm that the person had coronavirus six months before the trip. According to him, the incidence of coronavirus in the country is steadily declining, and the government lifts restrictions.
The Russian headquarters for combating the importation and spread of the coronavirus has not yet made any statements about the possibility of resuming flights with Bulgaria.
